Archos has finally come up with a low cost tablet which was announced in the August of this month. Archos is planning to compete with HP and Toshiba who both have low priced tablets. This tablet was named as “Archos 80 Cesium”.

The technical specs of 80 Cesium have the following

  • 8 inch display with IPS technology.
  • 1280*800 pixels resolution.
  • Intel Atom Z3735G Bay Trail quad core processor .
  • 1 GB RAM.
  • 16 GB internal storage.
  • Micro SD card slot(supports upto 128 GB).
  • 2 mega pixel rear camera.
  • 3 mega pixel front camera.
  • 4,000 mAh battery.
  • 215 mm long.
  • 123 mm wide.
  • 6 mm thick.
  • 360 grams weight.

This tablet works with Windows 8.1 Operating system. The wireless connection is possible with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and GLONASS and the wired connection is possible with micro USB and micro HDMI port.
