Rumours are saying that Google is going to split Android. May be these rumours will soon become true because already Apple has introduced the split screen multitasking with its iOS 9.
And to survive in smart market something new should be introduced from time to time. So, Google may also introduce the split screen multitasking feature to survive itself and also to give something new to its users.
Ina recent Reddit AMA, the people behind the Google Pixel C tablet had revealed some details about the future of Android. The AMA on Reddit had revealed that this feature will be given to the Pixel C tablet and also to the upcoming Android devices.
Further they said:
“We’re working hard on a range of enhancements for Android in this form factor,” says Android and Chrome UX director Glen Murphy. “There are many things, like multi-window, that we’ve been spending a lot of time on — hopefully we can share more about this soon.” It sounds like we’ll have to wait til Android’s next major “N” revision to see multitasking improvements, however. “We’re working on lots of things right now for N that, of course, we wish we had, you know, yesterday,” says consumer hardware director Andrew Bowers. “But we’d spoil the surprise of N if we shared all of them. Split screen is in the works!”
We will make you know when exact details regarding this feature are revealed by Google.
